What is Leesa? Leesa Review, Features

Founded in 2014, Leesa is a luxury mattress e-commerce brand in the United States. It breaks the traditional model of selling mattresses in physical stores and adopts a direct sales approach to deliver mattresses directly to customers' doorsteps, committed to providing customers with an extremely comfortable sleeping experience.

About Leesa

  • The Leesa mattress is a foam mattress designed to provide ideal comfort for all sleeping positions, but is particularly suitable for side sleepers due to its pressure-relieving properties and responsive materials;
  • Legend uses micro coils at the head and foot of the bed and firmer foam in the middle of the bed. The foam helps keep the hips elevated for proper spinal alignment when sleeping on your back or side, while the micro coils add more bounce and fluidity to the structure.
  • Leesa's mattresses are designed with impeccable details to provide customers with the comfort and support they need for a good night's sleep. Leesa's in-depth, rigorous research and more than 30 years of practical industry knowledge enable Leesa to create the perfect mattress for every sleep type and price point.

concept

The concept for any Leesa product starts in the notebook of Jamie Diamonstein, Leesa’s co-founder and chief product officer, who starts with the customer’s needs and digs into every detail.

Prototyping

Everyone at Leesa is involved in the prototyping process, from blind testing at Leesa’s headquarters to bringing prototypes into Leesa’s homes, where Leesa works on the samples until they are good enough.

Research and testing

Leesa products are meticulously tested by Leesa’s manufacturers for durability, pressure testing, and other industry-standard measurements. (Did customers know that cheap foams lose density four times as fast as Leesa’s? That could mean customers are buying four times as many cheap mattresses.) The Leesa team goes above and beyond individual testing—Jamie tested every iteration of Leesa’s legendary mattress himself until the coil gauge in the pocket springs was just right.

put up

Leesa's mattresses aren't sitting in a warehouse collecting dust; they're made to order, right here in the U.S., so customers can rest easy knowing they're getting a quality product tailored to their needs. Leesa's mattresses are assembled and compressed approximately one week after they've ordered, then shipped directly to the customer via contactless delivery.
