Another product made in China has been recalled. Sellers of such products should be careful!

On August 16, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported that three types of carpets sold on Amazon would be recalled because the carpets sold exclusively on Amazon did not meet federal flammability standards for carpets and rugs.

The recalled items include:

Approximately 100 YOH Ultra Soft Purple Area Rugs, Area Rug Size Approximately 5 ft. x 8 ft. The label on the bottom of the product reads "100% Polyester" and "Made in China".

Approximately 700 Pacapet Fluffy Pink Area Rugs Rectangular, Area Rugs are light pink in color and are approximately 5 ft. x 8 ft. The label on the bottom of the product reads "Pacapet," "100% Polyester," and "Made in China."

375 Andecor Girls Soft Tye Dye Area Rugs. Rug is rectangular, is light pink, yellow, green and blue dye, and measures approximately 6 ft x 9 ft. The label on the bottom of the rug reads "100% Acrylic Face Fiber Content" and "Made in China."

To date, no injuries have been reported from carpet fires. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said it recommends that anyone who has purchased any of these carpets stop using them immediately and contact Suellen Roosevein for instructions on how to obtain a full refund.

At the same time, Amazon will contact all known buyers directly on behalf of Suellen Roosevein to process returns and refunds.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission claims that "the Commission is responsible for protecting the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death associated with the use of thousands of consumer products, ensuring the safety of consumer products, and reducing the death and injury rate associated with consumer products." However, in recent times, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission has frequently attacked Chinese products, constantly identifying Chinese products as "containing potential hazards", resulting in a large number of Chinese products being recalled by online e-commerce platforms such as Amazon.

Although these products can be returned and refunded, the losses of Chinese sellers will be minimized. However, this behavior undoubtedly creates a bad image for Chinese sellers and Made in China, forcing sellers to lose their brand reputation while also dealing a blow to the reputation of Made in China.

The editor hereby reminds all sellers to check the quality of the products they sell and sell them strictly in accordance with the required standards to avoid product quality issues affecting store sales and maintain the product brand and the image of Made in China.
