About burgundyassemblage

Founded by designers Lan Peng and Adrian A. Aghbal. After meeting in New York City in 2007, the two were united by their shared passion for art and design, and their frustration with the rigid elitism of the art world. They founded Burgundy Assemblage in 2013 with the goal of creating a space where they could design and display beautiful, quality products on their own terms, while inspiring, encouraging and nurturing creativity and collaborative learning in others.

Mission of the Burgundyassemblage

The goal is to promote a greater understanding of the art and craft of design by inspiring and motivating consumers to participate in the creative process. We hope that by witnessing and participating in the creative process, consumers will have a deeper understanding of the function and beauty of design, allowing them to see the most ordinary objects in a new light.
