Bulletproof is a representative of the bulletproof coffee category. The founder was inspired by drinking butter tea during a trip to Tibet. He added high-oil and high-fat ingredients such as butter and coconut oil into coffee and launched Bulletproof coffee.

About Bulletproof

  • Bulletproof was created by Dave Asprey, an American Silicon Valley engineer and biohacker. When Dave visited Tibet in 2004, a local gave him a bowl of "yak butter tea". After drinking it, he felt his body warm up quickly and was full of energy all day, as if he was "invulnerable". After returning home, he replaced tea with coffee, and after several improvements, he finally developed "bulletproof coffee";
  • Bulletproof is an energizing, keto-friendly coffee drink made with high-quality fats to provide sustained energy.
