About Rad Power Bikes

• Before he became founder and CEO of North America’s largest electric bike manufacturer, Mike Radenbaugh was a teenage tinkerer who would spend hours in his parents’ garage soldering spare electronic parts onto an old bicycle, hoping to find a better way to complete his 15-mile journey through the countryside and hills to his high school.

• The result was the "Frankenbike," a battery-powered ride that could outpace cars—allowing him to get to class without breaking a sweat. His mom suggested a catchy name for the new project: Rad Power Bikes.

• With over 450,000 riders worldwide and more joining every day, Rad Power Bikes is dedicated to more than just producing award-winning electric bikes. We are dedicated to redefining transportation as a whole.
