Walmart Brand Portal is a one-stop store management tool designed to help sellers on Walmart US site better manage their brands. It is also designed to provide brand sellers with more protection and support to prevent infringement.

1. Manage all brands in one place

Walmart Brand Portal was designed to provide brand sellers with a better and more consistent user experience. To facilitate brand management, sellers only need one portal to:

  • Register multiple brands on demand: Walmart platform requires that the trademark is a valid trademark registered with the USPTO;
  • Submit intellectual property applications;
  • Tracking intellectual property infringement complaints;
  • Manage authorized quality assurance agents;
  • Get the latest report.

2. Submit various types of infringement complaints

  • The core function of Walmart Brand Portal is the infringement complaint submission system. We can report four types of infringements, namely trademark infringement, counterfeiting, copyright infringement and patent infringement.
  • Just fill in the relevant information to easily and effectively submit intellectual property infringement complaints. It should be noted that violations of exclusive distribution agreements do not fall within the scope of intellectual property infringement, and Walmart will not accept infringement complaints based on the grounds of "unauthorized sellers."

3. One-click tracking of infringement complaint status

  • For infringements by other sellers, after submitting an infringement complaint, we can use Walmart Brand Portal to track the complaint processing process.
  • Its dashboard will display every complaint we have submitted through the Walmart Brand Portal website. Simply click on one to get basic information about the complaint and its current status.

Walmart Brand Portal Registration

1. Walmart store account

2. Contact information and company information, valid trademark registration number (currently only registered trademarks of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) are accepted), and the email address for completed verification.

3. After confirming that the business and brand information are correct, submit the application and wait for Walmart to review it. You can then log in to your Walmart Brand Portal account to check the application status.

Application Process

Before starting to register on the Brand Portal website, sellers are requested to prepare their company information and valid registered trademark number from the United States Patent and Trademark Office in advance so as to complete the registration process smoothly.

1) Go to Walmart Brand Portal and select Register

2) Select Use Seller Center Account and log in to the system directly using the seller backend account (you need to log in using the admin account)

3) After successfully logging in, click Continue to verify your company details. The Company Information page will automatically populate with the same company information as the seller backend. You can also upload relevant documents (optional), including company registration documents, company acquisition documents, or any documents that can prove that the address you provided matches the registered company. After ensuring that the information is correct, click Continue to enter the Brand Information section.

4) Fill in the brand details, including the brand's USPOTO registration number and brand name, and upload the USPOTO document. You can choose to enter comments to explain the supporting documents. When you have completed this step, select the checkbox next to "I have read and agree to the Terms of Use" and select Continue.

5) Check the company and brand information to ensure that it is correct; if you find any errors, select Back to return to the previous page and correct the errors. If you are sure that all information is correct (including uploaded attachments), click Confirm and Submit.

6) After registration is completed, you can log in to Brand Portal to check the progress.
