Oral-B is a brand of toothbrushes and other dental care products produced by Procter & Gamble, which acquired Gillette in 2005. The brand also includes electric toothbrushes and interdental products. The development history of Oral-B Before 1980s 1921 - Max Braing opened an electrical appliance factory in Frankfurt, Germany. 1950 - California periodontist Dr. Rob Houston designs the first Oral-B toothbrush. The launch of the Oral-B Growth-Type Children's Toothbrush in 2003 historically introduced the new concept of segmented tooth care for children.
