What is Shopkeeper

Shopkeeper is a profit dashboard that tracks sales, calculates profit, and forecasts inventory. It can help sellers know how much to restock, which ASINs are losing money, which variations are performing better, how much sales tax to pay, and how much each refund item costs.

Function

1. Track sellers’ sales profits: Help sellers calculate profits by deducting PPC, storage fees, taxes and other expenses;

2. Inventory forecasting: Taking seasonal factors into account, helping sellers decide how much stock to replenish;

3. Business dashboard displays some of the most important metrics, including best-selling products, growth curve, overall profit margin, inventory value, etc.

FAQ

Q: How to upload product costs in batches?

A: Sellers can send a spreadsheet of product costs in any format to Shopkeeper Customer Service, along with the fees for each ASIN, so that sellers do not need to manually enter product costs.

Sellers may notice small yellow triangles like this one:

This means that sellers need to input manufacturing/purchasing costs and shipping costs to see the actual profit on each sale;

Sellers can also enter product costs manually: Manually in Products>Product Settings:

Q: How to authorize Shopkeeper to obtain Amazon seller backend data?

A: Do this in Account Settings:

Sellers also need to connect PPC data in order to view their PPC costs in Shopkeeper. First, sellers must go to account settings, and then there will be a section and button for MWS settings to link to backend PPC data:
