The "new factory managers" on AliExpress are doing a fierce business, and some have prepared 100,000 pieces of goods for Double 11

With the overseas Double 11 approaching, AliExpress has doubled its investment, and cross-border merchants are facing the biggest growth opportunity of the year.

 

Merchant confidence has also reached its highest peak in the year. In Xuancheng, Anhui, Chen Jiaxuan, a "new factory manager" born after 1995, has prepared 100,000 pieces of goods for this year's Double 11. Another Xuancheng merchant, Deng Qi, is full of confidence in this year's Double 11. He expects that after Double 11, the number of orders will increase on the basis of 10,000 orders per day.

Xuancheng merchants have developed rapidly on AliExpress. Four years ago, Deng Qi promoted the AliExpress stores in Xuancheng, Anhui from 1 to 200. This group of "Xuancheng partners" incubated 15 cross-border clothing factories specializing in AliExpress. Before Double 11 this year, AliExpress invested heavily in overseas markets. At the Double 11 merchant launch meeting, AliExpress clarified the platform development direction and provided clear ideas for going overseas, allowing merchants to prepare stocks with confidence and embrace Double 11, the biggest growth opportunity of the year for cross-border e-commerce.

 

1. After this year's Double 11, I feel the factory will have to change to a bigger truck

 

Before Double 11 in 2024, Deng Qi was preparing to build his third factory. The development history of nearly four years was described by Deng Qi as a "triple jump": from 1 million in 2021 to 8 million in 2022, and after joining the full trusteeship in 2023, it grew to 50 million. By 2024, Deng Qi judged the company's performance on AliExpress: achieving a sales target of 100 million is not a dream.

 

In recent years, Deng Qi’s orders have continued to grow, and he has changed trucks three times. After the AliExpress Double 11 this year, Deng Qi will probably have to change trucks again.

"In fact, there is one thing that can be witnessed along the road of order growth. Because our order volume is too large, we chose to ship to the warehouse ourselves. At the beginning, we used a small van to load a maximum of 2,000 orders a day. Later, as the goods increased, the van could not fit them all, so we changed to a vehicle that could carry 4,000-5,000 pieces at a time. As a result, in less than two months, we found that it was not enough again, so we bought a large truck that can carry six or seven tons at a time. Now we are doing AliExpress, and the number of orders exceeds 10,000 a day, and this truck is basically full. After this year's AliExpress Double 11, the number of orders may increase, and we will have to change the vehicle then." Deng Qi introduced.

 

Before the AliExpress Double 11 this year, Deng Qi was full of energy, and his earliest entrepreneurial partner Chen Jiaxuan was also well prepared. Before Double 11, Chen Jiaxuan's factory was able to stabilize at an average of about 5,000 orders per day. In order to welcome AliExpress Double 11, the largest business opportunity of the year for cross-border e-commerce, the factory stocked more than 100,000 items.

Four years ago, 35-year-old Deng Qi returned to his hometown to start a business. After many investigations, he found that the raw material resources around his hometown were rich, and he was familiar with the operation of AliExpress stores, so he decided to do cross-border e-commerce in his hometown.

 

At first, Deng Qi started his AliExpress business by himself in his room. He didn't have his own factory, so he could only look for goods after receiving orders. But he gradually found that this method had many limitations. In 2021, Deng Qi gritted his teeth and made up his mind to build his first clothing factory in his hometown. Deng Qi, a post-85 entrepreneur, is the first "Xuancheng partner" who brought AliExpress back to his hometown to start a business.

 

After the factory was established, Deng Qi found two good friends, Zhou Jun and Chen Jiaxuan, to be responsible for production management and AliExpress operations respectively, forming the "iron triangle" of AliExpress in Xuancheng.

At the beginning, the factory was all about expenses, which made Deng Qi very anxious. Later, he found that the men's clothing business on AliExpress was good. After the factory switched to men's clothing, the business improved. On the first Double 11, Deng Qi received a huge number of orders, with an average of 3,000 orders per day, which marked the turning point of his AliExpress business.

 

In 2022, Deng Qi found the local service team of AliExpress and began to receive professional support; in 2023, through the local service team of AliExpress, Deng Qi joined AliExpress full hosting and focused on AliExpress's rapidly growing Korean market.

 

In the past four years, Deng Qi has followed the platform's footsteps and achieved rapid growth in performance. After seeing Deng Qi's success, many factories in Xuancheng that sell AliExpress products have also sprung up one after another.

 

2. AliExpress Double 11 is coming soon. This year, the factory has prepared 100,000 pieces of goods

 

Chen Jiaxuan, a post-95s seller on AliExpress, has worked and studied in Chile. In 2020, he worked in a cross-border e-commerce company integrating industry and trade in Hangzhou while starting a business on AliExpress part-time. In 2022, he, Deng Qi and Zhou Jun formed the original AliExpress "Xuancheng Partners".

 

In 2023, Chen Jiaxuan and Zhou Jun opened their own factory. Because of their previous successful experience, starting a business and setting up a factory was relatively smooth. Speaking of AliExpress full trusteeship, Chen Jiaxuan believes that it is very suitable for the production model of local factories in Xuancheng. "The business model is very simple. After the factory joins the full trusteeship, it only needs to produce and ship according to the stocking reminders in the background of AliExpress. The factory will ship as many stocks as the stocking orders are placed."

 

After two years of development, Chen Jiaxuan has grown from an e-commerce studio with a few scattered employees to an "industrial and trade integrated" enterprise with two clothing factories in Xuancheng, a factory area of ​​5,000 square meters, and nearly 200 employees.

 

After seeing the success stories of Deng Qi and Chen Jiaxuan, more and more Xuancheng merchants decided to turn their factories’ production to AliExpress. More than 200 local companies engaged in AliExpress emerged almost overnight in Xuancheng, and in the past two years, more and more new factory managers like Deng Qi have gathered on AliExpress.

 

3. Double 11 becomes the biggest business growth opportunity for AliExpress merchants throughout the year

 

This year's Double 11, "new factory managers" like Deng Qi and Chen Jiaxuan are full of confidence, which is inseparable from the huge investment of AliExpress.

 

Nowadays, AliExpress's Double 11 ads are all over the streets of the UK, South Korea and other countries. In the UK, AliExpress appeared at the top animation feast - MCM London Comic Con, allowing more young British consumers to feel the charm of Chinese e-commerce. In South Korea, AliExpress signed Tang Wei and Ma Dongxi as its new spokespersons this year. In addition to sponsoring comic exhibitions and laying out outdoor advertisements, AliExpress also launched the "1 Dollar Challenge" in the United States in conjunction with more than 1,000 Internet celebrities.

 

On the domestic merchant side, AliExpress clarified the platform development direction at the merchant Double 11 launch meeting, namely, cross-border cargo pallets: "merchant self-operation + full trusteeship" dual-track drive model, local cargo pallets: "overseas trusteeship" model, and 10 billion subsidies to support brands going overseas.

 

AliExpress revealed at the Double 11 Merchant Launch Conference that the platform investment will double this year, and cross-border merchants will usher in the biggest business growth opportunity of the year. With policy support, merchants are enthusiastic and the stocking volume has increased sharply. AliExpress's warehouse stocking volume of electronic accessories, home furnishings and other products has increased significantly, reaching more than three digits year-on-year, and electronic accessories have exploded more than 8 times.

 

In addition, AliExpress will work with its overseas partner Cainiao to ensure efficient and deterministic logistics fulfillment services during Double 11, creating the largest investment and best experience in overseas Double 11 in history. Before the start of overseas Double 11, AliExpress also fully optimized its after-sales rules, proactively intercepting and managing the "refund only" and "freeloaders" that troubled merchants, and firing the "first shot in the cross-border e-commerce platform's fight against freeloaders."

 

The overseas Double 11 sales will start next week, and AliExpress’s doubling of investment will also drive “Xuancheng partners” and new factory managers to achieve more business growth.
