Price Guarantee is a new project launched by eBay, which promises that the prices of most products on its platform will be the same as those of other retail competitors. If consumers find that the prices of products of eBay competitors are lower, eBay will compensate consumers at 1.1 times the price difference. This guarantee policy will replace eBay's current Price Match service and provide online shoppers with the cheapest quality products.

Seller Participation Conditions

1. Registered on www.ebay.com and in good standing.

2. Sellers who meet eBay's minimum seller performance standards. Please log in to "My eBay" and check the Seller Information Center to verify whether your account currently meets the standards. If you have received fewer than 5 seller ratings from buyers, this information will not appear in "My eBay"; however, you will receive an email notification if your account falls below the minimum performance standards.

Supported Products

Price guarantees are offered on guitars and many technology items, including smartphones, tablets, Apple laptops, smartwatches and video game consoles.

Conditions for products to participate in Price Guarantee

1. Products must be among the top 20 best-selling products in each category, or products participating in the eBay Deals program.

2. Products must be sold on eBay-approved competitors, including Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Jet.com, Target.com, HomeDepot.com, Sears.com, and Wayfair.com.

3. Products participating in the Best Price Guarantee must be exactly the same as the products listed on eBay's recognized competitor websites and have inventory.

Compensation Policy

Once eBay buyers find that the products they purchased are sold at a lower price on other websites, they can contact customer service within 48 hours. After confirmation by the eBay team, the buyer will receive a discount coupon equivalent to 1.1 times the price difference.
