The strike spread to ONT1 warehouse, and a large number of sellers suffered heavy losses!

After a while, the anger of the drivers did not subside, but intensified. Recently, foreign media reported that Amazon delivery drivers have expanded their strike to the ONT1 warehouse in San Bernardino.

At the warehouse entrance, a large number of Amazon drivers held up strike signs, demanding that Amazon re-recruit employees who had been illegally fired and reach an agreement with the Truck Drivers Union, hoping to solve the current problems of low wages and poor working conditions for the driver group.

Brandi Diaz, an Amazon driver , said: "Amazon workers across the country know that this company will always put profits over our safety."

“We are now expanding our strike and have arranged a demonstration outside a second Amazon warehouse in the hope that this company will end its bullying and treat us like normal people.”

Just a few days ago, 84 Amazon drivers and dispatchers participated in a strike at a warehouse in California. They all joined the American Teamsters Union and signed relevant agreements. However, Amazon does not recognize the union and its affiliated agreements.

“These Amazon workers organized to fight for fair pay and a safe working environment, but Amazon refused to recognize their union or negotiate with them,” said Victor Mineros, treasurer secretary of the Teamsters . “So we are now taking our fight to a second Amazon warehouse to ensure we win.”

Amazon drivers in Palmdale initially chose to organize with truck drivers to protect their own safety in extreme temperatures, which often exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer in Palmdale.

In addition to employees, many local community residents have also complained about Amazon. Michael Jones, a community member in San Bernardino, said: "Amazon has brought only air pollution and cheap jobs to our community. We need to unite to resist this exploitative business model."

Amazon has obviously not had a good time recently due to internal and external troubles. The sellers on the platform are also naturally affected. Due to the strike, many sellers' goods cannot be stored and shipped in time, causing a lot of losses.

On the other hand, affected by the new consumer notification law, the speed of Amazon's various reviews has been greatly reduced, and some new sellers have waited for nearly 20 working days without receiving any feedback.

In the current weak environment, what Amazon urgently needs to do is to minimize internal consumption so that it can focus its main energy on development.
