In 2022 , Amazon filed lawsuits against a number of service providers, social network groups and other bad actors suspected of "fake orders and fake reviews" around the world, including lawsuits against service providers such as AppSally, Review , Agentcia Reviews , Fivestar Marketing , Matronex , and Extra Rebate that illegally manipulated reviews in the United States and Europe , as well as lawsuits against more than 10,000 Facebook groups . By bringing bad actors to justice, we protect sellers and consumers from unfair practices such as false reviews and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of honest sellers. The civil lawsuit filed in China against the "fake orders and fake reputation" service providers is the latest step in Amazon's continued pursuit of accountability for bad actors and creating a trustworthy shopping experience for consumers around the world.
