With 25,000 sellers on the platform, Dutch B2B platform Orderchamp plans to enter the UK market

Recently, Orderchamp, a Dutch B2B platform for brands and retailers, said that it experienced rapid development last year , with strong growth in both platform users and the number of products.

It is reported that last year, the Orderchamp platform had 20,000 retailers, which has now increased to 25,000. Director and co-founder Joost Brugmans said that currently there are still 1,500 to 2,000 physical retailers and omni-channel retailers registering on the platform every month.

On the Orderchamp platform, brands actively invite their buyers, the retailers, to register . Retailers in turn invite their own brands to join so that they can do all their purchases from one location . Joost Brugmans said that this model has become the driving force for the growth of the Orderchamp platform .

In its current database , Orderchamp has 150,000 unique products , with the largest categories being home and living , fashion accessories , jewellery , beauty and health , stationery , kids and babies, and cooking and dining .

Founder Joost Brugmans said that the products on the Orderchamp platform are not only diverse, but also high quality. The platform's goal is to make the quality of the products as strong as possible.

The Orderchamp platform achieved very good results in 2020. It is reported that one reason for its rapid growth is that the payment terms of retailers have been extended to 60 days after receipt of goods , and the affiliated brands do receive payment immediately, which greatly reduces the risk of creditors and is favored by many buyers.

With such rapid development, Orderchamp is no longer satisfied with the Dutch market, but has taken small tentative steps throughout Europe.

Orderchamp was founded in September 2019 with the goal of developing a B2B business across Europe. Therefore, every few months, a new country was planned. Initially, it was active in the Benelux countries, and later in France and Germany.

It is reported that Orderchamp has already started to prepare to enter the British market outside the EU. After connecting to new markets, the number of brands on the Orderchamp platform will increase .

In addition, vigorously developing cross-border e-commerce has also become Orderchamp's goal of continuously entering new markets. Joost Brugmans said that internationality is very attractive , and half of all online transactions are cross-border transactions.
