Compared with last month, sales of hand warmers increased by 447%, and sales of domestic hot water bottles in Europe increased by 300%.

 

Looking at the UK market alone, according to the latest sales data released by John Lewis, the largest department store in London , sales of hot water bottles increased by 219% compared with the same period last year. In addition to hot water bottles, sales of down quilts increased by 39% and sales of thermal curtains increased by 17%. In order to save energy and keep warm at the same time, more and more British people are buying such non-electrical heating products.

 

It is worth noting that turtleneck sweaters have become a popular winter item in the European market.

 

Recently, French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire posted a photo of himself working in the office wearing a turtleneck sweater on his official social account.

 

 

In a video speech released in October, French President Emmanuel Macron changed his usual suit and shirt attire and wore a turtleneck sweater.

 

Not only that, Macron's cabinet ministers also abandoned their suits and ties and appeared at press conferences in turtlenecks.

According to data from China's General Administration of Customs, in July this year alone, the total number of electric blankets imported from China by the 27 EU countries reached 1.29 million, an increase of 150% compared with June. Subsequently, another 1.4 million were imported in August.

 

However, in January this year, the number of electric blankets imported from China by the 27 EU countries was only 189,000, 73,000 in February and 61,000 in March, 154,000, 222,000 and 521,000 from April to June respectively, and suddenly began to soar in July and August.

 

According to statistics, the top three countries purchasing China's electric blanket exports are Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

 

 

At present, the price of electric blankets on Deya.com ranges from 27.99 to 201 euros. Many stores sell tens of thousands of electric blankets per month. Many of them have 4.5-star ratings, and the number of reviews is as high as thousands. Some product links were only put on the shelves in April, and some sellers have already set their sights on this wave of dividends.

 

The export order volume of various domestic heating products continues to increase.

 

A merchant who sells hot water bags in Yiwu, Zhejiang revealed that the orders for hot water bags exported to Europe this year were unexpected. One major customer directly placed an order for 2 million pieces, while the export volume of hot water bags in previous years did not exceed 900,000 pieces.

 

In addition to hot water bottles, heaters are also in great demand.

 

In previous years, the peak season for export heater production usually ended in mid-September, but this year many importers have temporarily added orders. A heater company in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province revealed that it expects the value of exported heaters this year to exceed 200 million yuan, and new orders from customers have exceeded 20 million yuan.

 

Chinese manufacturers are operating at full capacity, and customized products are becoming very popular!

 

With the surge in orders for various heating products, Chinese manufacturers are working at full capacity 24 hours a day.

 

According to a Dongguan electric blanket manufacturer, the factory's equipment has been running almost 24 hours a day since June this year. In order to deliver products on time, the factory not only recruited more workers, but also adopted a three-shift mode to work overtime.

 

While working at full capacity to produce, many businesses have begun looking for European distributors of heating products to open up the European market.

 

At the same time, domestic sellers are also working hard to customize heating products to meet the needs of European customers.

 

For example, some sellers have launched a variety of smart products based on the needs of European customers. These products have more functions and are more popular in the European market. At the same time, they have also translated the English on the product switches into German, French, Spanish, Italian and other languages.

 

A heater company also reported that European customers have a very high demand for customized products.

 

Currently, many European countries are raising energy prices.

 

Starting from October 1, the energy price cap for British households has been raised by 80%, and the annual energy price has reached 3,549 pounds (about 28,000 yuan). Before that, the energy price for British households was 1,971 pounds (about 16,000 yuan) per year . At the same time, other European countries are also raising the price ratio of energy.
