On July 26, 2022, the annual "Digital Marketing and Foreign Trade Expert All-Star PK Competition" of Alibaba International Station Shenzhen Region came to an end in Bao'an , Shenzhen .
As we all know , foreign trade has been facing various uncertainties since the beginning of this year . The three major problems of " demand contraction , supply shock , and weakening expectations" projected on the foreign trade sector will lead to an even more uncertain future . However , all these uncertainties have not affected the confidence of foreign trade practitioners in the new digital foreign trade .
"Digital capabilities" have become the most indispensable high-quality tool for foreign trade merchants on their journey overseas .
This competition is an important stage carefully created by Alibaba International Station Shenzhen Region for foreign trade merchants to learn and demonstrate mathematical marketing capabilities. It also promotes exchanges, mutual assistance and prosperous development of the foreign trade ecology of the international station.
The competition has been successfully held for two sessions . This year, by focusing on the foreign trade circles in Shenzhen and Dongguan, the competition helps merchants to successfully expand overseas with high-quality empowerment , helping foreign trade merchants to improve their all-round digital foreign trade comprehensive capabilities such as marketing, branding , operations , and product innovation .
This competition revolves around the concept of "localization" and focuses on the construction of industrial belts and regions. In addition to the Shenzhen competition area, the Dongguan competition area has also been added this year to further activate local businesses , give full play to the local commercial, industrial and resource advantages, and be closer to the actual needs of businesses, providing a flexible platform for communication and mutual improvement .
After six months of preliminary competitions , the competition has discovered high -quality merchants in various regions and trained 20 high -quality lecturers with distinct labels, which is twice the number of previous competitions. It has accumulated the successful marketing methodologies of outstanding merchants, extracted high-quality cases, and delivered them to more merchants, allowing them to benefit widely. At the same time, it has allowed more star merchants to come to the fore and create a foreign trade ecosystem of mutual assistance and common growth.
For the entire foreign trade industry, allowing good business to be seen, allowing good products to be perceived , and helping merchants build market confidence will be conducive to the healthy development of the industry.
Based on their own practical experiences, the contestants shared their successful experiences from multiple angles such as brand positioning, products, operations, international site marketing, and digital tools, allowing us to see the brilliant ideas and down-to-earth tenacity of the new generation of digital foreign trade leaders.
After eight hours of fierce competition, Dong Chun from Dongyi Yangshan Technology Co., Ltd .; Hu Shuibang from Shenzhen Yituo E-Commerce Co., Ltd .; and Zeng Xiangyun from Shenzhen Senterui Technology Co., Ltd. won the top three places respectively .

The champion Dong Chun is the head of Dongyi Yangshan Technology Co., Ltd. Born in the 1980s, he studied abroad and returned home. He experienced the financial crisis and was in debt of tens of millions, but he never gave up. He worked hard at Alibaba International Station for less than three years and became the leader in the coffee roasting industry . Later, he expanded into multiple categories such as coffee machines, consumer electronics, and new energy . He deserved the championship .
The runner-up, Hu Shuibang , is from Shenzhen Yituo E-commerce Co., Ltd. He is a geography teacher who was delayed by cross-border e-commerce . He quickly built TOP Alibaba international stores in multiple categories such as beauty equipment, health care, home appliances and new energy , and has replicable e-commerce operator experience .
The third place winner is Zeng Xiangyun , a C to TO He is an expert in the B industry . He founded Shenzhen Senterui Technology Co., Ltd., which mainly deals in fascia guns. From the beginning , C industry turns to TO B is engaged in cross-border wholesale and is an expert in cross-border e-commerce operations. His store on Alibaba surpassed the industry leaderboard in just 4 months , with an inquiry conversion rate of 39%.
As the first business established by Alibaba Group in 1999, Alibaba International Station relies on 21 years of data technology and a one-stop, full-link cross-border supply chain service system to create a new digital foreign trade model.
Zhang Kuo, president of Alibaba International Station , said in an interview , " The explosive growth of cross-border e-commerce in the past 20 years came from the digitization of traditional foreign trade transactions. In the next 20 years, the growth dividend of small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises will come from the business efficiency and certainty brought by the digitization of the entire process and cycle of foreign trade.
