Liu Xinyang said that cross-border e-commerce allows brands and factories to face overseas consumers directly, understand consumer usage habits and changes in demand, shorten the design and production, warehousing and transportation, marketing, user experience and market feedback cycles, accelerate commodity turnover, and enhance supply chain flexibility.
Cross-border e-commerce is characterized by "small batches", "high frequency" and "fragmentation". Social media, short videos, etc. have created new traffic platforms and new marketing methods. In terms of international express delivery, Cainiao has officially launched the Cainiao International Express Express product, focusing on covering six countries in Europe and the United States (the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany and the United States, etc.). It is expected that packages can be delivered to overseas consumers in as fast as 5 working days, and will work with AliExpress to continuously optimize products such as US$10 5-day delivery and US$5 10-day delivery, to comprehensively enhance the cross-border experience, such as providing guarantees such as "compensation for late delivery".
In addition, Cainiao has teamed up with AliExpress to build premium warehouses covering 7 locations across the country, including Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Shandong, with a total area of nearly 100,000 square meters . Premium warehouses can save more than 20% of logistics costs , and can realize the characteristics of direct shipment , fulfillment trusteeship, door-to-door collection , and further optimize logistics timeliness. In terms of international freight, Cainiao provides logistics solutions for air, sea, land and multimodal transport, realizing "end-to-end" integrated services, covering door-to-door collection, port transfer, cargo terminal operation, destination country card transfer and other links, giving full play to the advantages of wide-body aircraft, providing fulfillment services for oversized , overlong , overweight and special-shaped goods , and providing customized panel assembly solutions and overall cabin allocation suggestions .
