In terms of shopping groups, millennial online consumers aged 25-34 account for 20.2% of the total. The second largest group is consumers aged 35-44, accounting for 17.2% of the total.
In terms of shopping platform selection, 57% of consumers will choose Amazon first when searching for products, while only 31% of consumers will choose search engines. Even social media ranks higher than search engines, reaching 33%.
Sellers need to note that increasing investment in technology can effectively increase sales on the platform.
For example, many stores use AR technology to display products.
According to a consumer marketing experience research, 61% of people would choose stores that provide AR, and 71% said they would increase their purchases if they used AR applications.
At the same time, various interactive gaming experiences can also increase consumer engagement and encourage consumption.
According to the latest "gamification" market research data, the number of customers in stores that provide interactive games has increased by 700%. Store interactive games mainly include promotional competitions, big wheel draws, etc.
Additionally, voice shopping usage continues to grow, with more than 45 million U.S. consumers using voice technology for their shopping experiences in 2021, a 100% increase.
