When it comes to Amazon agent service providers, cross-border sellers have different opinions on them. Some sellers believe that agent companies can really help them understand platform information and general operation procedures, while some sellers believe that agent companies are extremely unreliable and will only "scam money."
Recently, Suzhou Silk Road Internet E-commerce Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Silk Road Internet), a company mainly engaged in Amazon agency operation services, announced that it had completed tens of millions of yuan in Pre-A round of financing. The investors were Panda Capital and Hongsheng Capital.
It is reported that the financing funds will be used to develop the company's overseas business. On the one hand, it will build overseas warehousing, and on the other hand, it will build a cross-border e-commerce operation and management system, all in order to better serve customers.
According to Tianyancha data, Silk Road Interconnect was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Suzhou. The company is rooted in the cross-border field, facing the US market, and deeply engaged in Amazon operation and training services. Its operation services include production planning, store operation, marketing promotion, warehousing and logistics management, etc.
At present, Silk Road Internet's main customers are OEM factories in East China , and its main operating product categories are home furnishings, including home living, maternal and child pets, kitchen and home furnishings, outdoor gardening and others.
It is understood that during the Black Friday promotion last year, the company's Amazon agency sales exceeded 2.5 million US dollars, slightly lower than the previous year. However, the relevant person in charge of the company said that considering the impact of the overall environment, the company's Amazon agency project has generally maintained a relatively satisfactory level.
Similar to most Amazon agency companies, the company's agency operation model provides products and funds to customers, Silk Road Interconnection provides online store operations and obtains commission income, and cooperates with third-party logistics companies in logistics.
Nowadays, as cross-border sellers are turning to multi-channel platform layout , Silk Road Interconnection expressed that it also hopes to move towards omni-channel agency operation in the future, involving other platforms and independent sites in addition to Amazon to create a full-chain service.
The company also stated that starting from 2022, Silk Road Interconnection will deepen its extensive cooperation with all sectors and strive to become a benchmark cross-border e-commerce enterprise in East China and even China. Amazon operation Financing |
