On March 8, 2022 , Alibaba Global AliExpress Fujian Merchant Operation Service Center was officially established in Xiamen. Since then, small and medium-sized merchants in Fujian and surrounding areas have a "mother-in-law" when going overseas, and all services are connected by dedicated personnel at their doorstep .
This is an important part of the local support plan launched by AliExpress last year , which uses localized services to provide " hands-on " guidance to small and medium-sized businesses.
It is reported that Xiamen, as a pilot city in the third batch of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones, has a superior geographical location, complete supporting facilities, and a full range of international logistics channels. It is one of the twelve highest-level "international comprehensive transportation hubs" in the country.
Wang Demin, general manager of Alibaba Global AliExpress National Merchant Operation Center , said that this year AliExpress chose to establish a merchant operation service center in Xiamen, Fujian, in order to better serve thousands of important industrial belt companies in Fujian and surrounding areas such as clothing, shoes and hats, luggage, lighting, etc., to help everyone understand and grasp the platform trends at the first time, and jointly merge into the three-dimensional network of "Belt and Road" by sea, land and air.
It is reported that the AliExpress platform was officially established in 2010 and is China's largest cross-border retail e-commerce platform. It has opened sites in 18 languages and covers more than 200 countries and regions around the world. As one of the core strategic cities for cross-border trade in China, Xiamen has a large number of Chinese brands and high-quality supply chain companies . In the past, a large number of cross-border e-commerce entrepreneurs in Xiamen also chose to open stores on AliExpress.
At the event, AliExpress also synchronized the " G100 Overseas Plan" to serve Fujian merchants. The " G100 Overseas Plan" is a brand support plan started by AliExpress in 2021. It plans to support 10,000 emerging brands by establishing direct and in-depth supply relationships with 100 super brands .
In the future, one of the functions of the local merchant operation service centers of AliExpress will be to improve the communication efficiency between merchants and the platform, help merchants at different levels improve their store operation capabilities, and improve in four stages: logistics services, talent training, brand incubation, and global marketing. Together, we will implement the " G100 Overseas Plan" to bring Chinese manufacturing from behind the scenes to the front stage in the world market , and accelerate Xiamen companies to "go global" and "sell globally."
