Attention! AliExpress releases annual sales assessment criteria for sellers

Recently, the official website of AliExpress released a new announcement, stating that it will assess the annual sales of sellers.

AliExpress pointed out that in order to improve the full-link shopping experience of platform consumers and create a healthy, orderly, fair and just business environment for sellers, the platform will launch annual (365 days) sales (payment amount) assessment rules for merchants . These assessment rules are intended to ensure the healthy development of the platform, promote the common growth of the platform and merchants, and continue to provide consumers with high-quality goods and services.

It is reported that the assessment targets are new merchants and cross-border veteran merchants who have been selling on the AliExpress platform for one year, and the sellers must have paid the deposit for more than 365 days (one year). Cross-border new merchants who have been open for one year refer to merchants whose first store opening time to the assessment date is more than 365 days (one year) but less than 730 days (two years). Cross-border veteran merchants refer to merchants whose first store opening time to the assessment date is more than 730 days (two years).

This assessment is mainly divided into two steps. The first step is to assess sellers of major product categories, namely clothing and accessories (women's clothing/men's clothing/underwear/special clothing/accessories), jewelry and watches (including fine jewelry), sports and entertainment (including electric scooters), luggage and shoes, and wedding dresses. The first assessment will be conducted on January 14, 2022. Sellers other than the above major categories will be assessed for the first time on February 14, 2022.

For categories that will be assessed on January 14, 2022, the sales deadline is: 24:00 on January 13, 2022 (Beijing time). For categories that will be assessed on February 14, 2022, the sales deadline is: 24:00 on February 13, 2022 (Beijing time).

The assessment criteria for the 365-day sales of cross-border e-commerce sellers' stores are: if the seller's store sales are lower than the category store transaction target for the corresponding store stage for 365 consecutive days, it will be deemed to have failed to meet the target. The specific transaction amount corresponding to the store stage can be viewed on the official website of AliExpress.
