Russia's Lamoda's third-quarter profit reaches 5.8 billion rubles

According to the data, all costs of Lamoda in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, including value-added tax, service fees and service fees with other partners, such as delivery and advertising, increased by 31.8% in the third quarter of this year compared with the same period last year to 19.2 billion rubles, and the gross profit margin increased by 3.3 percentage points to 51%.

 

In terms of users, Lamoda had approximately 3.5 million active users in the third quarter , with average sales per person increasing by 29.2%. The company pointed out that the main driving factors were the increase in order frequency and the rapid growth of high-end categories, children's products and "beauty" categories, among which beauty equipment, care products and makeup showed the greatest momentum .

 

In children's products , sales of school supplies for the back-to-school event on the eve of September 1st increased by more than 60% annually . In addition, children's sporting goods had the strongest performance in the third quarter.

 

In the beauty products category, the launch of the Dyson and GHD brands achieved breakthroughs, and sales growth of beauty and health appliances was impressive.

 

In the past quarter, Lamoda continued to actively attract new brands to the platform, with more than 200 high-end and mass-market fashion and lifestyle brands joining the platform between July and September.

 

The company’s CEO said that Lamoda is already a similar fashion and lifestyle retailer that continues to grow and strengthen its differentiation. “In the third quarter, we continued to develop partnerships with leading brands and took the lead in premium brand sales, with growth in the category of approximately 70%,” and actively invested in logistics infrastructure, laying a solid foundation for future growth and meeting the needs of demanding customers. ”

 

Lamoda ’s expansion of its logistics infrastructure is reflected in the opening of 92 new pickup points in the last quarter, bringing the total number of owned pickup points in Far Eastern cities to 525, the opening of 43 new transit warehouses, and the increase in the coverage of its own delivery service LM Express , which currently operates in more than 800 cities.

 

Compared to the third quarter of last year, the number of orders processed by Lamoda's distribution centers increased by 25% , and the distribution centers stored a total of more than 12 million items, an increase of more than 30% over last year .

 

As one of the important local e-commerce platforms, relevant sellers can also use it as a reference for layout and pay attention to platform trends in a timely manner.
