Even those who copied and sold products were warned by Amazon!

Recently, a seller who was trying to copy and sell products received a warning from Amazon: manipulating reviews and harming other sellers.

The seller said that he was maliciously followed by others, so he looked for a service provider to get rid of the follower, but he found four service providers in a row, and no matter test buys, additional purchases, or warnings and threats, it was useless. One service provider even asked the seller to give up because the follower was too difficult to get rid of.

Since the copycats could not be driven away, the seller planned to give up, but received a warning from Amazon: manipulating reviews and harming other sellers.

The main reason why the seller received a warning from Amazon for "manipulating reviews and harming other sellers" was that the seller used test buys, added purchases, and other methods that violated Amazon platform rules.

Follow-selling is a special feature of the Amazon platform. Amazon officially allows sellers to follow-sell. However, if your own products are followed, the orders will be taken away by the follow-selling products, which will have a great impact on the traffic conversion rate of your own products. Therefore, "follow-selling" is like a rat crossing the street, and is "shouted and beaten" by many Amazon sellers.

However, the method of chasing and following sales must also be carried out in accordance with the platform rules. The most effective method is to register the brand.

Although Amazon allows follow-selling, it also sets strict rules for follow-selling. Once the rules are violated, Amazon will also severely punish you. If the store and product are registered with the brand, once they are followed, the brand owner can immediately file an infringement complaint, and the Amazon platform will resolutely defend the rights of the brand owner (whether it is a new store or an old store).

There are other ways to prevent follow-selling, such as differentiating products as much as possible, adding or changing some small accessories of products, sending warning letters to follow-selling, etc. However, it must comply with the rules of the platform, otherwise even if the seller's original intention is to protect his own rights, he will become a victim in the end.

During the peak season, Amazon is cracking down on various illegal behaviors more and more. If you are not careful, you will cross the red line of the platform. While protecting your legal rights and interests, sellers should not ignore the platform policies to avoid losing more than they gain.
