The information submitted by Amazon sellers must be true, otherwise their accounts are at risk of being suspended!

The editor learned from Amazon’s official seller forum that a seller’s account was blocked due to an error in operating the account.

The seller BioBoost said that because it did not want to sell the products in grocery stores, it cooperated with a reputable distributor of pre-packaged grocery products and ordered 60 valid ASINs. Subsequently, the seller made an error when submitting proof to Amazon: due to insufficient photos of the products, the seller provided Amazon with a sales order instead of a final invoice.

Amazon responded to BioBoost and asked the seller to retake photos of all aspects of the product. The photos taken by the seller with an iPhone were in HEIC format, and then the seller used a laptop to convert the photo format to jpg and submitted it, but Amazon rejected the application and blocked the seller's account on the grounds that "the submitted documents appear to be forged or manipulated."

BioBoost said that it would make sense if Amazon rejected the sales application because the correct invoice was not provided, but it did not expect that the account would be deactivated due to forged documents, and all submissions were not changed or edited. Currently, the seller is appealing and providing Amazon with more documents to review the new POA.

After BioBoost stated that its account was blocked due to improper operation, some sellers said that they had the same experience and tried to find the reason for the blockage and proposed solutions for BioBoost .

Seller A: Amazon has many tools available to sellers, including digital manipulation checks for images and documents, actual databases of real invoices, etc. Sometimes, the false flag trigger can conflict with your ISP compressing data, causing reduced content to be transmitted on your mobile device (Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T).

Later, Amazon official Edward_Amazon said that changing the file format may be the reason for the seller's account being blocked. Generally, Amazon requires that the invoices and documents provided must be authentic original documents, and using software to change the file format will cause the file to be changed to a non-original document. If the seller needs to change the file format, Amazon recommends using a scanner or camera to avoid leaving digital traces.

The editor would like to remind everyone that the default image format of iPhone is HEIC. Sellers can change "High Efficiency" to "Best Compatibility" through "Settings - Camera - Format", so that the default image format is jpg. In addition, when submitting Amazon certification, sellers must carefully read Amazon's certification requirements to avoid account suspension due to operational errors.
