eBay has also added keyword control and budget planning permissions for promotional listings. Sellers can use keywords recommended by eBay or choose keywords to target their own listings. Alex Kazim, vice president and general manager of eBay Global Advertising , said that the program is currently in the testing phase and will be launched to eligible sellers later this year. At the same time, eBay has also cooperated with leading third -party service providers in North America, Europe and China to provide sellers with more new advanced CPC ads for promoted listings .
According to eBay statistics, 70% of eBay consumers use the search function first when shopping, and one in five consumers will shop on the search page. CPC advertising plans appear to help increase sellers' sales, but the specific effect can only be determined after testing.
