eBay and Orange Connex team up to provide better logistics services for UK sellers

In the post-epidemic era, e-commerce has a bright future. More and more consumers prefer online shopping, and more and more e-commerce sellers are joining the market, hoping to get a piece of the pie in the e-commerce field.

At the same time, competition in the field of e-commerce is also extremely fierce, and consumers pay more attention to the online shopping experience. The importance of logistics services is highlighted, and both consumers and sellers need better logistics services.

Just yesterday, eBay UK announced that it will cooperate with Orange Connex, a global logistics company, to provide "eBay fulfilment" service to sellers on eBay UK. Sellers participating in this service can have faster delivery options and lower logistics costs.

Simply put, sellers participating in the "eBay fulfilment" service can use eBay Fulfilment centers in Leicester and Birmingham, where they can store, pack and deliver goods.

Orange Connex's service can also provide sellers with same-day delivery, next-day delivery, and full tracking and transparent services. In addition, the service can fully protect sellers and prevent sellers from receiving negative reviews due to damaged goods during delivery.

Murray Lambell, eBay UK general manager , said: Managing inventory space and storing goods can be one of the biggest pain points for our sellers, while an increasingly competitive retail environment means consumers expect faster and more transparent delivery services.

Indeed, in recent years, e-commerce consumers have increasingly higher requirements for logistics services, and they hope that online shopping can be as convenient and fast as offline shopping. Sellers must not only ensure that goods can be delivered to consumers quickly, but also face a variety of return and exchange orders, which is indeed a considerable cost investment for sellers.

The fulfillment service launched by eBay is designed to further help sellers adapt to the ever-changing retail environment, especially some small and medium-sized sellers. The plan allows sellers to save a lot of manpower, material and financial resources and reduce warehousing and logistics costs. After joining the plan, sellers only need to focus on business development.

eBay has previously launched the "eBay fulfilment" service in Germany and China , which has proven to be very successful, with thousands of eBay sellers already enjoying the convenience brought by this service . eBay will promote this service more widely around the world in the future.
