A large-scale demonstration broke out in France, with more than 100,000 people taking to the streets. Logistics may be greatly affected!

Recently, the cross-border industry has been very unstable. Large sellers have been banned, and small and medium-sized sellers are in danger. At the same time, the situation in the logistics industry is not optimistic either...

According to reports, on July 17 local time, large-scale demonstrations broke out again in many places in France due to dissatisfaction with the new COVID-19 prevention and control regulations issued by the Macron government, and more than 100,000 people took to the streets to protest.

The Macron government announced new epidemic regulations on July 12, requiring medical staff to be vaccinated or they will be fined, and the public will also be required to carry health certificates in public. Medical staff who do not meet the requirements of the new regulations will not be able to go to work and will not receive wages.

This move by the Macron government has angered a large number of medical staff and the public, who believe that everyone has the right to decide their own body and that the president has no right to interfere in this.

During the parade, demonstrators wore shirts with the words " Oppose compulsory vaccination, infringement of freedom" and " Oppose health dictatorship " . Even members of the "yellow vests" participated in the march, and the scene was out of control.

In fact, three days before this large-scale demonstration , 19,000 demonstrators took to the streets to protest. According to statistics, a total of 53 protests took place across France that day , and demonstrators in some areas clashed with the police.

Affected by the Delta variant of the new coronavirus, the number of confirmed cases in France has surged recently, which has once again attracted the attention of the local government, leading to the outbreak of this march.

However, the outbreak of large-scale demonstrations has a direct impact on logistics and transportation, and local traffic has been greatly affected. Referring to the impact of the previous "yellow vest" movement, it is still unknown what will happen next... Under the epidemic, this demonstration may have a significant impact on the goods that have already entered France, and there may be a series of situations such as warehousing delays .

Therefore, the editor would like to remind sellers and freight forwarders who have shipping plans in the near future to pay attention to the latest local situation and be prepared for warehousing and delivery delays in advance.
