Amazon and eBay urgently recall multiple products

With only a few days left until Christmas, consumers who want to celebrate Christmas have already prepared gifts for their friends and family. When choosing Christmas gifts, the quality and safety of the product is also very important.

According to foreign media reports, many online and offline stores have recently issued announcements to urgently recall products due to product safety reasons. The recalled products involve multiple platforms and stores such as Amazon, eBay, Aldi, Halfords , etc. The recalled products are as follows:

Amazon platform:

DIY Mini Landscape Light ( ASIN: X001DK5DLP)

The product reportedly has a compartment containing three button batteries at the switch, which is easily accessible without tools. Some young children may put these button batteries in their mouths and swallow them, posing a choking hazard and causing gastrointestinal damage. In addition, the switch of the product does not comply with the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

FXL laptop charger ( Lot number: X0018UPISD ; SKU: FX00031-UK )

The plugs are reportedly counterfeit and therefore present a serious burn risk . The fuses in the product do not have a particle filling and therefore will not work properly after the product fails. There is a risk of explosion and fire, posing a burn risk to the user. In addition, the product does not comply with the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

eBay platform:

Hair clipper power adapter (carton number BEA016 5060680952636)

It is reported that the eBay platform recalled the power adapters that came with the V-Benz, Diva Beauty, and V-6093 hair clippers . The product posed a serious risk of electric shock because the pin size on the plug provided during testing was incorrect .

It is reported that due to the misalignment of the plug pins of the product , the plug cannot be properly installed into the plug test gauge and is incompatible with the socket that complies with BS1363. In addition, there is no fuse facility in the plug and the necessary markings, such as approval and approval body, are missing. This product does not comply with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Halfords Platform:

Halfords I-Size swivel child seat ( product code: 327022 )

Halfords has discovered a potential safety issue with child seats sold on its platform . During testing, it was found that the rotating locking mechanism of the safety seat could be pushed away when in the locked position. This issue could be potentially dangerous in the event of a car accident . Halfords is recalling these products from customers.
