Products cannot be purchased or do not appear in search results? Amazon sellers give advice

Recently, the editor learned on the Amazon official seller forum that a seller said that his listing was active but could not be purchased or searched.

The seller , Total_Health_LLC, said that his listing was active, but there was no buy box or searchable page. The seller even tried to search by the title of his product, but his product did not appear in the results. Subsequently, the seller conducted some product promotions and promotions, but none of them produced any results.

In response to the situation where Total_Health_LLC's products cannot be purchased or searched, seller ASV_Vites gave some suggestions.

First, ASV_Vites recommends that sellers follow Amazon’s suggested bids. If Amazon suggests a product price between $4 and $8, and the seller’s price is $2, the seller’s listing may never be displayed. Too high or too low a product price will make Amazon think that the seller is maliciously undermining the trading market.

Secondly, ASV_Vites said that Amazon's search engine is designed to generate sales, and it does this by providing previous sales results. There are many tags in the listing title, and the tags are what will be displayed to buyers. Even if the seller has an excellent brand, if there is no advertising or promotion, the product will not appear in the search results.

Again, ASV_Vites said that the main image of the seller's listing should be changed. If the background of the image is not pure white, this may cause Amazon to misjudge the authenticity of the seller's product and need to be verified. In addition, ASV_Vites emphasized that sellers should add a better story in the product description that does not violate any sales rules, add additional value to the product, and encourage consumers to buy.

Finally, in response to the problem that Total_Health_LLC's sales activities are difficult to carry out, ASV_Vites said that the seller currently has more than 3,000 competitors, and Amazon's search engine will only display the first 336 results. If the seller's ranking will be 10 times lower than the maximum display, the product search results will not be displayed.

ASV_Vites points out that the first sponsored product on Ash search may cost $20 per click , which is too expensive for small and medium-sized sellers. Sellers should consider using external advertising such as Google or FB/Insta. If the seller has a brand registry, you also need to set up attribution so that the seller can monitor conversions through the program.
