Frequent malicious complaints? Amazon sellers "protest to save themselves"

Recently, the editor learned from the Amazon official seller forum that a white T-shirt sold by a seller is currently under complaint due to suspected intellectual property infringement.

Seller Vitozon said that although it had received six complaints of alleged intellectual property infringement from Mijn Witte T-shirts, Mijn Witte T-shirts is a clothing brand based in the Netherlands. After investigation, the seller found that the brand did not have a brand representative in the United States.

Vitozon stressed that this is clearly an attempt to defraud seller accounts by filing intellectual property complaints. Vitozon hopes that the Amazon brand protection team will immediately intervene in the incident to stop the fraudulent activities of criminals and remove these violations from the seller's performance indicators.

In response to the increasingly frequent complaints from lawless elements, sellers have become more aware of intellectual property protection and more experienced in dealing with malicious complaints. Seller SUNDANCE has even compiled a DMCA counter-notification email format for dealing with copyright disputes.

SUNDANCE said that since no one likes to reveal their so-called "trade secrets", most sellers do not share their experience in solving the problem with each other after being complained. He stressed that sellers need to start working together instead of suppressing each other. Sellers need to work together to help each other and share information to fight these hypocritical intellectual property complaints.

SUNDANCE is dissatisfied with Amazon's stance on claiming rights every time, so it has come up with this DMCA counter-notification email format for dealing with copyright disputes, trying to encourage other sellers to share solutions and techniques for dealing with criminals, helping sellers deal with these false intellectual property claims and reshape a good e-commerce sales environment.

SUNDANCE said that following the above steps will force complainants to prove their copyright complaints in court, so there is a 99% chance that criminals will choose to withdraw the case. However, sellers should only use this process when they cannot resolve the relevant disputes by working directly with the complainant, and should not develop a habit of over-reliance on it.

The editor would like to remind all sellers that although the solution has been proven to be effective by "SUNDANCE", due to Amazon's increasingly strict protection of intellectual property rights, there will be deviations in the actual processing process, making it difficult to achieve the expected results. Sellers should ensure that the products they sell have brand authorization letters and sell them legally and compliantly to avoid loss of profits to the greatest extent.
