Recently, some sellers said that they were suddenly unable to list any products on their accounts.
According to the post by this seller, he has been on Amazon for more than 15 years, mainly selling books. His account health score has always been very good, and there have been basically no problems in the past decade.
Unexpectedly, a few days ago, when the seller was listing a new product, he suddenly found that he was restricted from listing. At that time, he thought that the page was not refreshed or something, so the seller waited for a while and tried again, but found that he really could not list the product.
After realizing the seriousness of the problem, the seller quickly checked his mailbox and account health page, but did not find anything abnormal. After contacting customer service, they said they did not find any problems either. Later, the seller made several more calls, but the replies he received were that they did not know the reason and could not help.
As the existing inventory was running out, the seller was anxious like an ant on a hot pot, after all, he would have no business after the existing products were sold out. The seller said that he even tried to upload several unknown novels, hoping that they could be put on the shelves to solve the urgent problem, but the result was still disappointing.
The seller said that the Amazon store is his main source of income, and now he really doesn’t know what to do. After this post was published, it received many replies from sellers, some of whom said that they had encountered similar experiences, while more people complained about Amazon’s various unreasonable mechanisms.
One seller responded, "You are not the first person to encounter this problem. I have not seen a solution to this situation. If it is a new account, it is understandable, but it should not happen to you who has been selling for more than ten years."
Some people think that this is a bug in Amazon's system , sometimes sellers are restricted without doing anything wrong, while other sellers are not affected at all. I think Amazon has not realized that this problem is happening to certain groups, so it is not taken seriously.
Another person complained: "My inventory has been pledged for more than two years. I tried to return it but it didn't work. What's worse is that Amazon charges me a long-term storage fee every month."
As of press time, the seller's problem has not been resolved. Amazon Seller Restricted Listing |
