Amazon India Prime Day will be held from July 26th to 27th!

Amazon holds Prime Day promotions every year to attract new users and reward existing users with exclusive offers and discounts. Now that Amazon's Prime Day in other sites such as the United States and Europe has passed for half a month, Amazon India's Prime Day is just about to debut!

Previously, due to the impact of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in India , Amazon India had suspended its promotional activities in May . According to India Today, Amazon India has publicly stated that it will launch Prime Day sales on July 26 (Monday) and July 27 (Tuesday) .

Coinciding with the fifth anniversary of Prime India , the membership sale will offer the best prices and deals across categories including smartphones, consumer electronics, TVs, appliances and Amazon devices . Other categories include fashion and beauty, home and kitchen, furniture and daily essentials.

Amazon India also announced on Twitter: " Get ready to dive into a sea of great deals, blockbuster entertainment & new product launches on Amazon Prime Day on July 26 & 27. "

Amazon India had a huge success during last year’s Prime Day. During Prime Day 2020, 91,000 sellers participated, of which more than 62,000 were from tier II and III cities across India.

More than 4,000 small and medium-sized sellers had sales of more than Rs 10 lakh. In the 14 days leading up to Prime Day 2020, more than 1 million Prime members made purchases from these sellers .

As the most promising site of Amazon, Amazon India has great potential for future growth. However, in recent years, Amazon's development in the Indian market has not been smooth sailing. While achieving a series of achievements, it has also been subject to hostility and controversy from the Indian government and other small businesses.

Speaking about this year’s Prime Day sale, Amit Agarwa , Senior Vice President and General Manager, Amazon India said : “We are dedicating this Prime Day to the hundreds of thousands of small and medium-sized sellers on Amazon. We are humbled by their resilience and grateful for the opportunity to support them during these challenging times.
