8 million sold in one month! Furniture exports are booming, with orders scheduled until August

Raw materials soared 40%, but furniture export orders are still growing...

Under the background of the epidemic, foreigners have been spending more time at home, and their enthusiasm for buying furniture products has been rekindled. At the same time, domestic furniture exports are very hot, raw materials have risen sharply, and the demand for overseas furniture markets has been increasing.

As the largest furniture production base in China, Hai'an, Jiangsu is very busy, and timber dealers are also the "winners" in this wave of enthusiasm. A shop owner said that the price of raw materials has been rising recently, and the price of a piece of New Zealand pine has increased by 40% compared with the beginning of the year, but it has not affected sales, and the supply is still in short supply.

The timber dealer revealed that this year's monthly turnover is about 7 to 8 million , while last year's monthly turnover was about 6 to 7 million, an overall increase of about 20%.

Many manufacturers here say that orders have surged, but costs have risen, order schedules are long, and shipping times are naturally longer.

A general manager of a furniture company said that New Zealand and the United States are the main export destinations for furniture. The rise in raw material prices has indeed brought considerable cost pressure and compressed profit margins, but overall the development is still improving. At present, "capacity cannot keep up" is the main problem, and the orders being processed have been scheduled until August.

The furniture exports in Hai'an are booming, with bathroom cabinets, folding tables, sofas and other products selling well abroad. It is worth mentioning that mid- to high-end furniture products are becoming more and more popular among foreign consumers.

Many foreign consumers have begun to renovate their backyards, set up terraces, install swimming pools , etc., to increase the comfort of home life. At the same time, many foreign families are frantically buying shoe racks , and some brands of products are once sold out. For consumers, such storage racks that are both beautiful and practical are worth buying, and sellers should also pay more attention!

The editor searched Google Trends and found that the popularity of keywords such as " furniture " has continued to soar recently. This shows that there is still a huge demand and market for furniture in various countries.

Interested sellers can make comprehensive judgments based on multiple factors such as products, markets, logistics, etc. to seize this trend in a timely manner.
