11 Street improves fast delivery service, South Korea's e-commerce competition intensifies

It is reported that on the 14th, 11 Street and the Postal Service Headquarters jointly launched the "Order Today, Arrive Tomorrow" service, which allows you to receive the goods tomorrow if you order today.

The service is only available at midnight on weekdays, and you can receive it the next day . First, it provides services for more than 1,000 products from 23 well-known domestic and foreign brands, including Ottogi , P&G Korea , Dongseo Food , Amorepacific , Lotte Chilsung Beverage , Chong Geun Dang Health, Cheong Jeong Won, Dongwon and other enterprises.

The number of products available for next-day delivery is expected to increase further as options to add more than 20 brands are under discussion .

Previously, 11 Street signed a business agreement with the Postal Service Headquarters in December last year to expand cooperative services between distribution and logistics, and prepared a full range of services such as warehousing, storage, delivery, returns, and inventory management for 11 Street sellers' products at the Daejeon Postal Logistics Center.

11 Street explained: "When an order is received, it is sent directly from the Daejeon Postal Logistics Center, which is equipped with dense delivery infrastructure for each town , so it can be completed. "

It is understood that the products that are "ordered today and will arrive tomorrow" can be clearly seen on the "Ship Today" label of 11 Street .

Recently, in the distribution industry, Coupang has been growing rapidly every year thanks to its "fast delivery" (rocket delivery). Therefore, competing companies are scrambling to work with logistics companies to strengthen their logistics networks.

In addition, Naver has also cooperated with CJ Logistics, South Korea's number one express delivery service, to provide fast delivery services for certain brands such as LG Household & Health Care, while expanding the scale of complete distribution centers. Other companies are also expanding their own logistics centers and are strengthening fast delivery services.

Now, this e-commerce market that we have always ignored in the past is already one of the largest and fastest growing markets in the world. It has developed into the world's fifth largest e-commerce market. The growth rate of e-commerce is rapid, and the fierce market competition among major e-commerce companies is likely to continue.
