Total sales up 75%, more people buying luxury goods online in South Korea

It is reported that the new coronavirus infection has led to an increase in non- face-to-face consumption , and the number of customers purchasing famous brands and luxury goods online in South Korea has also increased.

 

On the 7th, according to statistics from online luxury e-commerce Must-It, the total sales of Louis Vuitton , Chanel , Hermès , Prada , Dior and Gucci products increased by 75% over the previous year.

 

According to statistics, Dior's sales growth rate was 484%, ranking first , followed by Chanel ( 111%) , Prada ( 94%) , Louis Vuitton ( 91%) , Gucci ( 58%) and Hermès (51%).

 

Among them, Gucci and Louis Vuitton have a higher proportion of male customers, while Chanel and Hermes have a higher proportion of female customers.

 

Among Louis Vuitton's products , the "Pochet Toilet 26 Monogram Handbag " was very popular, Prada's "Tesuto Chain Strap Hobo Bag" showed high popularity , and Chanel 's "Classic Wallet" and Dior's "Saddle Wallet" were also included in the list of popular products.

 

Popular products from major brands include bags, belts, wallets and bracelets , which are warmly welcomed by people.

During the spring sale season, sales at major department stores increased by 40% to 70% over last year , with the brand-name product category leading the way, driving overall sales .
