Focusing on female consumption, Middle Eastern e-commerce Kenz completes six-figure financing

Kenz was founded in 2017 by Christina Ganim and Nicola Cuoco and is based in Palestine.

Kenz is an e-commerce platform focusing on intimate apparel for women in the Middle East and North Africa . It is also the first e-commerce website to provide an online body shaping size calculator, aiming to help every woman find the right bra and style.

Recently, Kenz announced that it has completed a six-figure financing led by Ibtikar Fund, with participation from Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC) and other angel investors from Palestine, Saudi Arabia and the United States.

It is reported that Kenz will use the funds it received to expand its business in Saudi Arabia and build its own team in Saudi Arabia and Palestine. As large retail giants pay more and more attention to their online business, Kenz will use the funds to expand its product selection and technology and cater to customer needs and services. Kenz is ready to meet the competition and become a recognized leader in the industry in 2021.

It is worth mentioning that the Arab Palestinian Investment Company has various investments in the Middle East and North Africa, including manufacturing, trading and distribution. Kenz CEO Christina said: "APIC's participation will enhance Kenz's distribution and retail capabilities in the Saudi Arabian market."

She added: " Our new investors will provide us with the operational and marketing expertise to enable Kenz to grow to the next level and enable us to scale rapidly. Our team is very excited and ready to simplify the process of finding the right underwear for consumers."

Ambar Amleh of Ibtikar Fund said: “We are delighted to once again join Kenz in this round. We are proud of Kenz’s growth and look forward to supporting them as they continue to expand in the region and become a leader in the industry.”

80% of Kenz 's team are women, which allows Kenz to better understand their consumer needs and pain points and provide solutions in a better way.
