Amazon Business Sales to Reach $25 Billion a Year

 

Amazon announced the latest progress of Amazon Business Purchasing's global business. Currently, Amazon Business Purchasing serves more than 5 million corporate and institutional customers worldwide , with an estimated global annual sales of US$25 billion in 2021, of which third-party sellers account for more than 50%.

 

Currently, Amazon Business Purchasing has covered nine major sites around the world, including Amazon United States , Canada , United Kingdom , Germany , France , Italy , Spain , Japan and India .

 

 

Cross-border e-commerce has become the third largest complaint area in e-commerce, and cross-border logistics has become more popular

 

According to the " 2020 China E-commerce User Experience and Complaints Detection Report", 580 mainstream e-commerce platforms were involved in the massive user complaints received in 2020, a year-on-year decrease of 40.82% compared to 980 in 2019. Among them, retail e-commerce complaints accounted for 64.05% of all complaints, the highest proportion; life service e-commerce followed closely, accounting for 20.59%; cross-border e-commerce accounted for 8.45%, which was the third largest user complaint area.

 

According to the investigation of Chinese media, the complaints in this report are mainly against import multinational e-commerce. The rapid development of cross-border e-commerce has also led to the rapid development of cross-border logistics. According to the survey data of the "Report on the Research on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests of Cross-border E-commerce", the logistics problems encountered by cross-border online shopping consumers accounted for 21%, becoming the second largest hot issue for consumer complaints.

Zood Pay recently officially announced the launch of the first cross-border buy now, pay later solution for the Middle East and Central Asia. Serving merchants from China, Europe, Russia and Turkey as well as consumers in the Middle East and Central Asia, this move will significantly reduce customer service costs, increase average order value and reduce return rates.

 

When using ZoodPay, consumers can choose to pay for their purchases in local currency. Payment can be made within 14 days or in three to six installments without paying any interest or fees. Cross-border merchants receive payments in US dollars and euros. Currently, this service is only available to cross-border merchants in China, Europe, Russia and Turkey.

 

Merchants in countries and regions such as Uzbekistan , Kazakhstan, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia can open storefronts through the ZoodPay ecosystem and promote their products to shoppers in new markets without paying additional setup costs or fees .

 

The first China-Europe train in Nanning, Guangxi, promotes upstream and downstream cooperation in the central and western industrial chains

 

The total journey of the heavy machinery China-Europe freight train , which was first launched in Nanning, Guangxi , is about 5,031 kilometers. It starts from Nanning International Railway Port, passes through Xi'an Xinzhu Station, and leaves the country from Alashankou. It is expected to take 13 days to reach Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, to serve local engineering construction.

 

The newly launched "Nanning-Xi'an-Nur-Sultan" China-Europe freight train directly connects the capital cities of Guangxi and Shaanxi provinces. It is of great significance for promoting upstream and downstream cooperation of the industrial chain in the central and western regions and radiating and driving the industrial development of surrounding areas.
