Beware! Amazon is cracking down on fake orders, and a large number of sellers have been banned

Less than a month after work resumed after the New Year, Amazon's warning came true.

A large number of sellers were banned for fake orders

Recently, a large number of sellers have been blocked by Amazon for false orders. Some sellers had received warning letters before, but were not blocked at that time. Some sellers had not received warning letters before, but their stores were blocked when they woke up one day.

For example, a seller on the UK site was suspended from selling and his funds were frozen. What’s more terrifying is that this seller’s other sites were also closed without any new products, and he only received a cold email from Amazon

Your Amazon seller account has been deactivated in accordance with Section 3 of the Amazon Business Solutions Agreement . Your listings have been removed from our site , and funds in your account may be withheld for 90 days or longer. Amazon may withhold funds if we determine that your account has been used to sell counterfeit or prohibited items , for fraud or other illegal or abusive behavior.

The importance of reviews to traffic, weight and product orders is self-evident. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be so many sellers taking risks and testing the gray edge again and again ...

From last year to now, Amazon has been strictly investigating fake orders, and a large number of sellers have had their stores closed. From being caught for the first time to being caught for the second time, from making multiple appeals to save the store to deciding to abandon the store, the sellers have experienced a lot of ups and downs.

A seller who was blocked complained on the forum: I am trembling as I write my third appeal letter. My store was blocked once in June last year for fake orders...

Some sellers have also discovered the side effects of fake orders - they started to fake orders not long after the new products were put on the shelves, and got more than 20 reviews, but they couldn’t find the natural position no matter how hard they tried!

To brush or not to brush? What should sellers do after being blocked?

After being beaten down by Amazon many times, sellers have formed several teams to debate whether fake orders are appropriate

Some relatively cautious sellers: Although the bolder the person, the more productive the land, but generally speaking, it is better to be cautious and not test Amazon's bottom line. Moreover, fake orders are only auxiliary, and should not be regarded as the only way to make orders.

There are sellers who "blame others": they watch others make a lot of money by faking orders, but they rely solely on reviews but it doesn't work, and they are in danger of being warned and closed from time to time ...

There are also Buddhist sellers: they never make fake orders, and rely on natural traffic to sell 200,000 or 300,000 dollars a month ...

Some sellers are even asking themselves this question : If they are caught placing fake orders twice, can they get their store back?

There are quite a few sellers whose accounts were blocked this time, including some who bought products twice - it's a headache because they were caught buying products twice, and their appeals were not accepted. Customer service said that the possibility of getting a refund is very small.

Some sellers have previously stated that the chance of getting a second appeal back is extremely small, probably slightly higher than the chance of winning the lottery.

However, there is still a long way to go. For the sustainable development of the store, sellers should be cautious and not repeatedly touch Amazon's bottom line.
