Bukalapak holds “Supermarket Day” promotion as transaction volume increases by 300%

Recently, Indonesian e-commerce platform Bukalapak held a " Supermarket Day " promotion , where consumers can enjoy discounts of up to 50% .


During the event, consumers can purchase groceries and home care products at a minimum price of 120,000 rupiah , and enjoy free delivery . It is reported that the promotion will end on March 31 , 2021. Before that, consumers can find the "Cari Sayur" option on the Bukalapak platform . Here, when Indonesian consumers purchase products worth 120,000 rupiah, they can enjoy delivery services without paying shipping fees. The products will be delivered directly to the Jabodetabek area .


Kristiono, category head of FMCG at Bukalapak , said : During the pandemic, Indonesians have turned to online shopping for everything including basic necessities .


He said: During this campaign , we will be working with many vegetable and fruit retailers and suppliers to ensure that all Bukalapak users can purchase the products they need without leaving their homes and also know the ingredients of the products.


According to Kristiono, attractive products and high-quality vegetables and fruits are what attract many users of Bukalapak to supermarkets , especially in Cari    A big reason Sayur serves with passion .


He noted that since the launch of Cari Sayur , transaction volume has increased by 300%, and some of the products that users are interested in include durian , apples , pears , grapes, etc.


In addition to this, Bukalapak has also partnered with Microsoft for digital learning to help SMEs seize more opportunities and contribute to the country’s sustainable socio-economic development.
