Beauty products are in high demand among Israelis, accounting for 30% of total sales
WB data shows that from December 2020 to February this year, the most sought-after products on the Israeli site were beauty products, accounting for 30% of the site's total sales. Clothing ranked second, accounting for 21%. In addition, books, toys and shoes accounted for 11%, 7% and 4% of total sales respectively.

At the same time, due to Christmas, New Year and Valentine's Day, the sales of jewelry, shoes and newborn underwear also increased significantly, increasing by 9.5 times, 7.5 times and 7 times respectively.
On the eve of Valentine's Day, Israeli consumers bought Valentine's Day cards, plush toys, candles, balloons and festive dishes printed with love hearts or "sweet words" on WB to create a romantic atmosphere. WB said that with the International Women's Day approaching, Israeli consumers may buy gift sets such as cosmetics and candies.
WB 's export sales exceeded RMB 2 billion last year
In recent years, WB has been advancing into the Russian overseas market at an increasingly rapid pace. In 2020 alone, it entered four new markets: Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Israel. In mid-January this year, WB entered the German market. So far, WB has ten major sites.
The development of overseas markets has brought significant growth to WB's business. WB data shows that its turnover reached 437.2 billion rubles in 2020. In 2020, the platform's export sales increased by 95% year-on-year compared with 2019, reaching 23.7 billion rubles (about 2.06 billion yuan) , and sales volume increased by 138% year-on-year.
WB's most popular products among overseas buyers are clothing, beauty products, books, shoes and food. The fastest growing demand in 2020 is health care products, with sales increasing by as much as 1,246%.
WB said that the company's active entry into overseas markets has expanded the export potential of Russian-made products. So far, 19,300 sellers have exported overseas through WB.
