  • All used cars have a 3 month warranty. If the product does not meet expectations, there is a 7 day or 300 km trial period to return the car and KAVAK will return 100% of the money without any kind of penalty to the customer.

FAQ

Q: How can I confirm whether the price is reasonable? Is the sales price negotiable?

A: Prices are calculated based on an algorithm developed by KAVAK, which is fed by a set of market variables. To define the final price, KAVAL analyzes prices from different sources: Auto Guide, EBC Guide (blue), as well as real-time market data. Using these variables in the algorithm, the true market value of each car can be assigned; therefore, KAVAK prices are not negotiable. In addition, since KAVAK does not have expensive showrooms or commissioned suppliers, it can pass on the savings to the customer, so that the customer gets the most affordable price.

Q; How will payment be made and can I keep my current car as part of the payment?

A: Yes. As long as the customer's car meets and passes KAVAK's inspection standards, the customer can include it as part of the payment. Once the review is passed, a price will be set, which will be deducted from the final purchase price.

Q: Can the initial quote received be changed?

A: No, the initial quote is valid for 5 days as long as the customer enters the correct car data. However, the customer receives an initial quote. To get the final quote, the car must undergo a mechanical and legal review, and KAVAK will confirm whether to give a discount based on the customer's vehicle condition.

Q: What documents do I need to provide when selling a car?

A: The documents KAVAK asks for are the minimum required to ensure the customer's car has no debt in Mexico and to understand the ownership history. They mainly include the history of invoices, registration and/or cancellation of license plates, circulation card, verification stub, two sets of keys, manuals and service cards.
