  • Former Groupon executive Ben McKean founded Hungry Root , a company dedicated to turning vegetables into delicious pasta.
  • Hungry Root 's pasta is 70% to 80% vegetable and 20% protein. The noodles are made from potatoes, radishes, beets, pumpkin and other vegetables with a secret sauce, and the protein is optional.
  • The products include almond chickpeas, kale salad, beet noodles, black beans, banana nuts, etc. All products are less than 500 calories and can be eaten after heating for a few minutes.
