AutoSock is a tire-focused company founded in 1998 in Oslo, Norway.

 

About AutoSock

  • The AutoSock team is made up of experts in textile engineering, yarn production, design, and the fields of snow and friction, such as renowned scientist Dr. Dag Anders Moldestad, former advisor to the Norwegian Olympic Committee;
  • The functional Scandinavian design of the AutoSock was created by Einar Hareide, former design director at SAAB Automotive.
  • AutoSock has been well received by car manufacturers and consumers, and the product has been introduced in North America, Japan and South Korea. Since 2006, AutoSock AS's subsidiary AutoSock Operations AS has been responsible for daily operations. Today, AutoSock is still headquartered in Oslo, Norway, with a network of distribution partners around the world.
