Seller Fulfilled Prime is a program launched by Amazon in 2015 to reduce warehousing pressure and make Prime members accessible to non-FBA sellers.

Participation Requirements

1. The seller must be able to provide free 2-day shipping. This Premium shipping is 2-day shipping.

2. The BUY SHIPPING rate of FBM ORDER must be greater than or equal to 95% (including those connected to API).

3. More than 300 FBM orders.

4. If you are setting up a US site, you need to have a warehouse in the US, and if you are setting up a UK site, you need to set up a warehouse in the UK.

5. Willing to purchase goods delivered by Amazon logistics service.

6. The number of orders delivered through the Merchant Fulfilled Network must exceed 50 per day.

7. On-time delivery. Sellers must ensure that their SFP orders are shipped on time at least 99% of the time.

8. Order cancellation rate. The cancellation rate of all orders in SFP fulfilled by the seller shall not exceed 1%.

If your account meets the above requirements, you can apply, but after passing the application, you will still have a 90-day probation period. Although you will have a PRIME ORDER during this period, your LISTING will not reflect the PRIME logo. The PRIME logo will only appear after the probation period.

6. SFP is a program that guarantees buyers that if delivery is delayed, buyers will receive compensation or even a refund.

7. You may have to accept a refund without returning the product due to reasons such as damaged, defective, wrong product, or buyer regret. Although you can file a Safe T Claim and have a chance to get compensation, it is a long and opaque process.

9. Like FBA, there will be a higher number and frequency of returns for any reason.

12. Prime members are used to not leaving positive reviews when they are satisfied with the products. But if they are dissatisfied with the products, they will leave negative reviews very quickly. So you will feel a higher rate of negative reviews than the general FBM. However, SFP is different from FBA. Amazon will not be responsible for your negative feedback. In other words, although you provide advanced logistics services, you still have to deal with negative reviews yourself.

According to Amazon's prediction, if sellers who join SFP can meet all the indicators and utilize high-spending member users, their sales will increase by 30% to 40%, and logistics expenses will be saved by 60%. At the same time, Amazon's other preferential policies can also be applied.

Sellers can choose to use SFP for products that do not meet FBA regulations and some bulk goods. Products with the Prime logo have a greater ability to compete for the Buy Box and can also compete with FBA sellers and Amazon's own stores.
