Thin Margin FAQ

What or who is Thin Margin?

Thin Margin is Singapore's first and largest 24/7 online money changer, bringing foreign currencies to your doorstep at highly competitive rates!

Q: What does thin margin mean?

A: The difference between the sell price and the buy price of a currency is called the spread or margin. We operate efficiently on very, very, thin margins to bring you the best prices and convenience!

Q: Why isn’t it a standard operating procedure for the customer to count the money in front of the rider before signing the proof of delivery?

A: Thin deposits ensure customer safety first, which is why we do not let riders see the cash. Our operations are equipped with CCTV, so the entire packaging process is recorded. In case of dispute, we will review the recording and take necessary action. Customers just need to make sure the package is sealed without any tears or damage.

Q: Handing over money sounds a bit risky. Is it safe?

A: The answer is YES! The first thing we want you to know is that customers do not bear any delivery risk. Thin Margin will be solely responsible for delivering the currency to your doorstep. This is much safer for you as a customer because you do not have to visit an ATM, take a large amount of SGD to a money changer, and then take a large amount of foreign currency home.

Q: How to pay?

A: We accept payment for currency orders via PayNow/Bank Transfer or Netease Payment.

Q: Do you deliver to my neighborhood?

A: We deliver to almost all of mainland Singapore. To ensure reliability, please enter your postal code when adding your address.
