Multiple Amazon warehouses are overwhelmed, and a group of sellers are unable to ship goods

Amazon's system seems to be acting up again.

A group of sellers have found that there have been frequent problems with delivery recently, such as sudden inability to ship, clicking on the delivery page but finding that the page has crashed, and being unable to enter even after refreshing; some sellers have been divided into different warehouses, and even one SKU has been divided into three or four warehouses; receiving email notifications that product labels are not affixed, etc.

The delivery problem is closely related to the current situation of Amazon warehouses. Recently, many Amazon warehouses have been overwhelmed and a large number of appointments have been postponed. Before the National Day holiday, sellers have encountered many twists and turns in delivery!

Multiple warehouses are seriously overwhelmed, and the rejection rate of some warehouses is as high as 90%.

According to recent feedback from sellers, many of Amazon’s popular warehouses are currently severely overwhelmed and product listings are extremely slow.

Some sellers ship their products by air freight, but they haven’t registered them for 30 days, and their products are almost out of season. Some sellers’ Halloween products are not on the shelves yet, and they will have to lose money to clear their inventory when their competitors are flooded with orders.

It is understood that the warehouses with serious overloads include LAX9, LAS1, SMF3, SBD1, GYR2, GYR3, FWT1, etc. Amazon not only refuses to release appointments for these warehouses, but also cancels and postpones appointments. For some popular warehouses, the appointment time is basically mid-October. Appointments for SNA4 and ONT9 warehouses need to be made after 3 weeks, and the rejection rate is as high as 90%.

At the same time, we received news from abroad: Due to the impact of Amazon warehouse explosion, the backend UPS and FedEx express delivery of goods from CLT2, MDW2, MEM1, MQJ1, FTW1, IND9, SBD1, GYR2, GYR3, and FWA4 warehouses requires an appointment one week in advance and a full truck to be delivered to Amazon warehouses. Therefore, if the goods sent to these warehouses are interrupted, the inspection and after-sales time will be extended.

When sellers consulted Amazon customer service about the warehouse situation, they received almost all the responses that advised sellers to wait. As the peak season approaches, shipments are repeatedly blocked. Sellers say they can’t wait, and Amazon has already reminded sellers to prepare goods for the peak season.

Amazon recommends that sellers send holiday season inventory to warehouses before October 26 to ensure they are prepared for the surge in Black Friday orders. Amazon said its fulfillment centers will focus on the cargo receiving process in October, and will once again increase operations to prepare for the holiday shipping peak season, hoping that sellers will have enough inventory to meet the expected peak in demand.

October also means that Amazon will charge higher fulfillment fees, and the peak season fees will take effect from October 15 to January 14, 2024. Combined with the overflow of Amazon warehouses, many sellers want to ship in advance to avoid the extra fees. However, sellers have not been able to ship smoothly recently.

Problems such as inability to ship and warehouse division have occurred

Recently, many Amazon sellers were unable to enter the Send to Amazon page when shipping goods . Refreshing the page repeatedly did not solve the problem. The sellers were unable to complete the shipment normally , and some colleagues even thought there was something wrong with their computers.

This problem occurred mainly on Thursday afternoon, and many sellers were extremely confused:

"——I walked around for a long time but never got in.

——Keep refreshing and keep refreshing;

——Close everything else and leave the web page loading;

——I thought it was my problem, but it turns out everyone is like this.”

At present, some sellers claim that the page loading problem has been solved. This situation is considered by sellers to be a bug in the Amazon system. In the past two days, the Amazon system seems to have a temporary malfunction. Not only is the delivery page abnormal, but sellers have also encountered other problems such as warehouse division and notification emails without product labels.

Seller Xiao A said that when he was shipping today, he found that the standard warehousing option was divided into three different warehouses. He reselected the shipping address and even divided it into four different warehouses . This problem occurred in his two accounts, including the accounts of his colleagues . Two colleagues who never divided warehouses also started to divide warehouses.

Xiao A and a colleague withdrew from the multi-destination plan . In March , his account withdrew from the multi-destination plan because of the warehouse splitting email sent by the registered email address. Later, there was no more warehouse splitting. After the recommended warehouse entry option and standard warehouse entry option were released, the standard warehouse entry option was no longer split.

Now the problem of warehouse division has made a comeback. Xiao A's SKU has been divided into three or four warehouses. This situation is not an isolated case. A large number of sellers are troubled by the problem of warehouse division.

"It's really difficult. I've been swiping through three warehouses for a whole day. I get rebates for standard warehousing, but before, rebates were only given to recommended warehouses." Seller B is helpless.

"In one day, there are either 2 warehouses or 3 warehouses. 2 boxes also have to be divided into 2 warehouses. Before, there was only one warehouse." Seller C introduced.

While problems are frequent, some sellers have found that the goods sent to the West Coast warehouse seem to be more divided into warehouses . Some people have all their goods sent to the West Coast warehouse divided into three warehouses , and now they can only consider sending them to the East Coast warehouse. Some sellers have found that there are no problems with the shipments created using AGL. The seller bluntly said: "Amazon wants everyone to use AGL. If you don't use AGL, it will be divided into warehouses. What a pitfall!"

It is worth noting that sellers have found that those who withdraw from the warehouse splitting plan will also be split. You need to try to brush it yourself, or use the method of changing the address to see if you can adjust to one warehouse.

Some colleagues who have encountered this problem before shared their solutions: 1. Do not create too many SKUs at one time, 2. Try again the next day.

In addition to the warehouse distribution problem, some sellers suddenly received email notifications about abnormal product labeling .

Seller C said that he received an email today notifying him that one of the boxes of his batch of goods did not have a product barcode on it, and asked him to fix it. The notification puzzled him: "I always pack and confirm the shipment one by one, and I will change the packaging of each product and check whether there are labels before sealing the box. This time it's strange that one box was not labeled, and I am 100% sure that all the boxes are labeled."

Coincidentally, another seller also encountered such a problem. More than 200 products were shown to need labeling. A dispute has been submitted and Amazon is waiting for a response. Another colleague said, "I just encountered this problem. I requested pictures in the solution, but there is no response. I consulted customer service and was told that I could submit a request in the dispute and ask Amazon to help label. The fee will be charged according to Amazon's labeling fee."

Experienced sellers said that if there are not many items without labels, Amazon will help you label them and put them into the warehouse . There is no charge for a small amount, but Amazon will charge a certain fee for more items. However, there will be performance evaluation, and if there are too many problems, you may be banned from creating new items.

The specific operation is, click to solve the problem, Amazon will help you label, and 1 shipment performance will be generated; click to dispute, select a reason, and fill in the text box below. It doesn't matter whether you fill it or not. This is equivalent to opening a case, and Amazon will investigate; if the dispute is passed, this performance will be removed; if the dispute is not passed, the case will be replied, and finally 1 shipment performance will be left. Currently, as long as the shipment performance does not exceed the specified ratio, it will be fine. After 120 days, the shipment performance will disappear.

Recently, Amazon warehouses have been overwhelmed, and problems such as inability to ship and split warehouses have occurred simultaneously. Sellers can ship in advance to avoid delays.
