Amazon officially announced the second "PD promotion" this year

Recently, Amazon announced that it will hold another big promotion for Prime members in the second half of this year. This is not the first time. Last year, Amazon held two big promotions in July and October respectively. It seems that it wants to continue this approach this year.

 

It is understood that Amazon calls this autumn's big promotion "Prime Big Deal Days." However, like last year, Amazon still did not disclose the specific time of this big promotion.



According to an announcement released by Amazon, this autumn promotion will cover sites in 19 countries, namely Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, the United States and the United Kingdom.

 

Amazon also wrote in the announcement post: "As the event approaches, we will share more details about this event, and we look forward to offering this discount feast to our Prime members as soon as possible."

 

Just last month, Amazon's Prime Day promotion achieved record sales. According to Adobe Analytics, US consumers spent a total of $12.7 billion during the two days of the event. Adobe said that this figure increased by 6.1% year-on-year, setting a new record for the PD promotion.

 

Amazon said that consumers bought more than 375 million items during the two-day promotion, up from 300 million last year. In addition, Prime members saved more money this year than any other Prime Day, with data showing that they saved more than $2.5 billion during the promotion, with home furnishings, fashion and beauty products being the top categories in the promotion.

 

Industry insiders speculate that Amazon’s launch of the second “PD Promotion” is mainly aimed at people who want to shop for the holidays, and can attract as many consumers as possible to shop in the current downward economic environment.

 

For sellers, Amazon’s second big promotion is of course good news, which can help to achieve the performance goals in the second half of the year. Sellers who failed to seize the first PD event must seize the opportunity this time and strive for explosive sales!
