Recently , Tmall Global launched a new business incubation program "Supernova Creation Camp", invested hundreds of millions of funds, and launched new store opening services and annual growth plans such as annual fee reduction and free live broadcast traffic. It is expected to support 1,000 new global brands within three years and help them grow from category stars to supernova brands.

 

According to the information released on Tmall International’s investment promotion website ( https://merchant.tmall.hk), for new merchants entering Tmall International after April 1, 2023, based on the first year of operating standards, Tmall International will refund 50% to 100% of the annual fee, and provide Alimama with a whole set of exclusive services for new store openings, including refunds on promotion fees , pure commission cooperation for expert live broadcasts, and traffic coupons for store live broadcast rooms.

 

In addition, Tmall Global has also customized an annual growth plan for emerging brands entering the "Supernova Creation Camp": six major benefits, including free traffic for the cold start of new products, search recommendation resources with tens of millions of exposures, and content-based marketing activities throughout the year, to help new brands grow steadily at different stages in a targeted manner.


 


According to Tmall International staff, the "Supernova Creation Camp" will focus on supporting new merchants in nine core import sectors, including beauty, health care, digital home appliances, maternal and child care, personal care, home furnishings, fashion, food, and pets. Overseas companies that can respond quickly to the Chinese market in terms of product development, supply chain, and marketing are also particularly welcome.

 

Tmall Global has always been the preferred platform for overseas brands to enter China. In the past year, the number of new overseas brands on Tmall Global has increased by 40% year-on-year. This year, as imported consumption has rebounded, new overseas brands entering China to "start a business" have seen strong growth on Tmall Global.

 

Take the Italian eye health brand as an example . In the six months since it entered Tmall Global, its growth rate has reached 8 times that of its original domestic market. During the 618 shopping festival this year , its single-day sales were almost equal to the monthly sales of a store in Italy. The Swedish beauty and skincare brand L:A BRUKET achieved sales of over 10 million in just five months after entering Tmall Global, and over 20 million in one year.

 

It is reported that in late August, Tmall Global will also hold an investment promotion conference and launch a series of favorable policies to expand new business for potential new merchants.
