FBA warehouse explosion, Prime Day may be affected!

Some time ago, some sellers reported that Amazon's Prime Day this year has been set for July 11 and July 12, which is earlier than sellers expected. However, in the face of the explosive sales on the Prime Day, this year's sellers have lost their passion as in previous years, saying: I have no confidence and dare not expect a large number of orders.

According to sellers’ feedback, despite the intense preparations for the big promotion, many sellers have already fallen into a bottleneck period, with traffic being the first problem. Some sellers said that since a large number of 20% discounts appeared on the front desk, the number of orders has been falling to the bottom. Coincidentally, some sellers also said that there were no orders and their stores were basically closed. Even if they put in advertisements, it didn’t have much effect.

To make matters worse, sellers are also troubled by the difficulty of FBA warehouse entry and reservation. To avoid the situation where Amazon warehouses are overwhelmed and unable to enter warehouses due to the big promotion, sellers usually produce and stock up in advance and send products to Amazon's US distribution center to ensure sufficient inventory for Prime Day.

But now that Member Day is approaching, the FBA warehouse explosion incident seems to have not been resolved yet, and it is getting worse. "On Amazon's US site, FBA's final delivery and listing time are a bit slow. Is it because Member Day is coming soon?" a seller complained.

It is understood that many of Amazon's warehouses are currently severely overwhelmed, and contract cancellations and postponements are frequent, so that sellers' goods are delayed in being delivered to Amazon warehouses, disrupting the sellers' entire operational rhythm, which is likely to have an adverse impact on sellers' Prime Day.

Specifically, warehouses such as SMF3 and SCK4 are expected to be delayed by more than 10 days; warehouses such as LAX9, GYR3, and MEM1 are expected to be delayed by more than 7 days; warehouses such as LGB8 and FTW are expected to postpone appointments; ONT8 is expected to be delayed by 2-3 days; SBD1 is not very stable, and appointments are released in different time periods, so there are fewer appointments.

At the same time, the situation in Europe and the UK is not optimistic. Due to serious warehouse overflows and unloading delays, many DPD warehouses are currently delaying or stopping parcels sent to all FBA warehouses.

European DPD warehouses are overwhelmed and delivery of goods may be delayed, especially for Amazon warehouses 44145, 06126, 29015, and 38350. It is also difficult to make an appointment for delivery, and delivery may not be possible for 3-5 working days.

The UK DPD has limited delivery and is slow, and is severely affected by Amazon's warehouse scheduling. Tens of thousands of Amazon packages are stockpiled in the DPD warehouse and cannot be delivered, and the speed of product listing is also very slow.

Whenever Amazon prepares for war, accidents will happen frequently. This has become a rule. Sellers are advised to plan logistics and warehousing plans in advance according to their own circumstances to avoid making changes during the scheduled warehousing time, which will eventually lead to warehousing failures.
