[Officially Opened] Official Registration Channel for Zhengzhou’s First Southeast Asia Overseas Growth Summit

As global consumer behavior shifts from offline to online, e-commerce has become an important force for China to improve the quality and efficiency of economic operation, promote industrial restructuring and expand opening up. According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce, since the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (hereinafter referred to as: RCEP) on January 1 , 2022, China has established bilateral e-commerce cooperation mechanisms with 23 countries on five continents. Among the 19 free trade agreements signed by China, about 60% contain e-commerce clauses. In the same year, the 12th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization achieved important results and promised to revitalize the e-commerce plan.


As the ten ASEAN countries are important members of RCEP , the cross-border e-commerce market in Southeast Asia is bound to usher in a round of growth, becoming a blue ocean market that cannot be ignored by cross-border brands, and it will be more worthy of exploration by cross-border e-commerce sellers. However, most Chinese sellers grew up under the platform system, and they may not be able to adapt to the local environment when operating independent sites. Whether in product selection, traffic diversion, or operational logic and thinking, they are very different from the platform model, which is the pain point and difficulty of running an independent site.


On August 26, GiiMall, EasySign, together with guests from the official TikTok Shop & Google platforms, Jikeyin, cross-border service providers, and many Southeast Asian big sellers, prepared a grand event for Zhengzhou sellers targeting the emerging markets in Southeast Asia. From an industry perspective, they analyzed the operation strategies, traffic delivery, localized marketing, and other issues in the Southeast Asian market for sellers, helping Chinese cross-border e-commerce companies achieve the freedom of independent stations in Southeast Asia .
