New opportunities! AliExpress surpasses Amazon in the Polish market and becomes the largest

The report said that although American e-commerce platforms Amazon and eBay also participated in the market competition, Poles have great faith in e-commerce platforms from Asia (such as AliExpress). Data shows that Amazon and Shopee are tied for third place.

According to PwC data, the Polish e-commerce market has great potential. During the epidemic, 85% of consumers were accustomed to online shopping. Paweł Kowalik, manager of PwC's strategy department, said that even though Poles can go to shopping malls, their online shopping habits will not change.

Poland is becoming another market of opportunity for domestic cross-border merchants to explore. In the past year, AliExpress has established overseas warehouses and self-collection cabinets in Poland. It is understood that AliExpress's overseas warehouse in Lodz, Poland can not only cover the local area, but also radiate to Eastern and Central Europe. So far, AliExpress has built more than 500 sets of self-collection cabinets, mainly covering the six core cities in Poland.

Gary, the head of AliExpress's European market , said that as AliExpress becomes more popular in the Polish market, this year AliExpress will accelerate the delivery time of overseas warehouses and improve service quality. From the previous 3-day delivery nationwide, it has been improved to the next day, and even the fastest delivery within 24 hours, achieving a service experience equivalent to that of local e-commerce. This can greatly enhance the competitiveness of domestic cross-border merchants in the local market and help domestic merchants quickly and cheaply open up new markets.

Gary also gave his own suggestions on product selection . Polish female users account for more than 55% of AliExpress users. Therefore, this summer Chinese sellers can focus on choosing party-related clothing, cosmetics, wearable accessories, festive supplies, home-related small and fresh furniture decorations, colorful lights, attractive fans, as well as weight-loss related sportswear and home sports equipment.

In fact, not only in Poland, AliExpress has recently taken the first place in many national markets such as Chile, becoming an important platform for domestic cross-border merchants to open up new markets quickly and at low cost.
